What a beautiful sight I see before me dear lady. Wonderful flora and fauna, a contented couple, summer sun, sandy beaches and a rather delectable and saucey wee peach reclining in a pose only suitable for viewing by married couples of a certain religious upbringing.

A marvelous view... from every aspect.

You bumped into Demis Roussos in Greece, didn't you? I reckon it was him that came over unnecessary, not you!

Chef: you are certainly right about the contented couple Ah me!

John: we never went in the hottest season.

Scarlet: I'd forgotten about that. I wonder what happened to him?
Greece made a big impression on me and I have probably written about the same places before and probably will again.
If my filing wasn't so desperately bad I could keep a tighter grip.

Parsnip: I hope you do see it one day.

I started a visitors' book on my blog, it lists the date a blogger first commented on my blog with their first ever comment... yours was regarding Greece and meeting Demis!

Ahh, I've been on the that beach in Zakynthos - Dafni, isn't it, or one of the beaches near it? We actually saw a baby turtle there emerging from the sand for the first time - amazing animals.

Well you are very brave showing your arse to the blogging world, ha, but as it's petite you can get away with it!

What a lovely set of photos, and such good memories.

Naomi: one of the first articles I had accepted was writing about Greece - with love.

Granny Annie: some of it is really awesome - especially Delphi which is like being in the centre of the universe and yet at home.

Crabbers: not really:)

Gadjo: that sounds right. What I love about Zante - we climbed a hill with the sea behind ua and when we reached the summit there was the sea below us. Just for a moment we felt like brilliant explorers:)

Joey: I did give it some thought and decided that in the present - 'hang it all out' climate it was small beer.
Not quite so petite these days:)

Such a treasure of photos and memories. I fell in love with Greece, or rather, Corfu, thanks to Gerard Durrell's My family and other animals.
